Mental Health Awareness Week

The 9th- 15th May 2022 is

week and this year’s focus is ‘loneliness’, something that affects many of us at one time or another and can contribute to poor mental health or be a result of it.

The “Lets Connect” campaign focuses on four key areas to contribute towards tackling loneliness, isolation, and the barriers to connection by:

*Raising awareness of the link between mental health and loneliness

*Providing safe and welcoming spaces for people to talk and support each other

*Upskill people to use technology and keep in touch with loved ones

*Create an army of volunteers to support lonely people

As an employer, we contribute by ensuring that our team have regular interaction both virtually and face to face, including socially focused events, have access to mental health first aiders and we operate an open and honest working environment. The skills and experience of our team means we are also able to offer this support, advice and guidance to our clients, many of which are made up of small teams of people with a lot of responsibility, which we recognise can feel incredibly lonely at times.

If you would like some assistance with engagement and communication strategies and the implementation of policies that promote good mental health, please contact us at
