OUR HISTORY

John Francis Safety & Compliance Ltd was launched as a result of the John Francis directors recognising the benefits of a Safety & Compliance Consultancy working side by side with a MEP business as the wealth of knowledge the partnership could offer to clients.

 

Daniel Johncock, the founder of John Francis MEP Ltd in 2018 to provide sustainable building services solutions, with the goal of delivery engineering with functionality focus. From the success of MEP, Daniel has then sourced some of the highest calibre safety and compliance professionals to form John Francis Safety & Compliance with the aim to provide clients with a diversified service in the field of HSQE, compliance and other key business support whilst maintaining the company ethics of high standards and level of expertise.

 

We take pride in our ability to deliver a leading service whilst still being able to adapt to the individual needs of our clients or projects. With a mix of experience including management, design, installation and administration across both site and office environments, we can operate at any level within a project team and hierarchy.

15+ years experience successfully delivering projects with developers, main contractors and private clients. Daniel has established himself as one of the most diversified engineers in the industry, working alongside private developers, local authorities, subcontractors and consultants on various types of projects and contracts. His experience working for 

reputable contractors includes United House, Bouygues and Knight Harwood. Daniel is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.

Nicola Johncock, Secretary

With 15+ years administrative experience working in the Leisure and Construction industries. Nicola has worked for reputable contractors such as United Living Group. She has been successfully managing the finanical aspects, marketing and document control procedures for JF H&S sister company JF MEP and will lead the social marketing correspondence.

Jenna Wells, HR & Compliance Manager

Jenna has 14 years experience as a HR Professional and has worked within the Construction and Engineering industry for most of this time, gaining extensive experience in all areas of HR in generalist and specialist roles. She is a member of the Chartered institute of Personnel Development and undertakes several volunteer roles including being an Enterprise Advisor supporting the Careers strategy of a local school and working with City & Guilds as part
of the employer board for the development of Engineering and Manufacturing T-Levels.
Jenna has experience in supporting businesses with the achievement of both internal compliance and externally awarded accreditations including Constructionline, Safe Contractor and the meeting of various ISO standards. In addition, she has experience in Social Media marketing and is an active champion for helping businesses to deliver valuable CSR activities as part of their business strategy.
In her role as HR and Compliance Manager, Jenna will be taking care of the internal HR requirements for the JF Team businesses as well as supporting clients with the achievement of their HR andCompliance aspirations.

Ross has over 20 years’ experience in operational facilities management and is a qualified Health and Safety Manager. 

Working predominantly in the private sector, Ross has worked with many prestigious and blue chip clients in London and including The Royal Opera House, Lloyd's of London, Heron Tower, Lend Lease, Somerset House and M&S. 

Ross has a sound knowledge of historic venues and public buildings as well as high end offices, with experience in cleaning, security, M&E, help desk, post room and sub contractor services.

With over 10 years of secretarial and administrative experience, Ellie brings a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dealing with our IT systems and documentation as well as sourcing new clients. Ellie has a varied background covering construction, energy and most recently in the public sector.

Lafia Toure, Energy Consultant

Lafia has over three years of sustainability experience in energy and carbon assessments in residential schemes. She has been expertise in new build energy assessment (SAP) from concept stage to EPC production and advice on Part L, trained by STROMA, committed to providing consultations and detailed reporting while continuously discovering opportunities for improvement. Lafia has driven interest in expanding knowledge in the fastly changing sustainability area and building services.
